Caramel Rum Fruit Dip
½ cup(125mL) Butter/Margarine
1 14oz package caramels, unwrapped
¼ cup(60mL) Chopped Pecans
1 tbsp(15mL) Milk
1 tsp(5mL) Rum Extract
Cut-up Fresh Fruit
Melt butter and caramels in 2-quart (2 Litres) saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramels are melted(12-15min). Stir in pecans, milk, and rum extract. Stir vigorously to incorporate butter. Keep warm; use as a dip for cut-up fresh fruit.
